Terms of Use and Website Disclaimer.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of mmfirm.law and any other website operated by Maddox & Muñiz, PLLC (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. About the firm

Maddox & Muñiz, PLLC is a Texas professional limited liability company providing legal services from San Antonio, Texas, focused on school law, government and municipal law, and corporate and business law.

2. Attorney advertising

This Site may constitute attorney advertising in some jurisdictions. The information on this Site is for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. The decision to hire a lawyer is an important one and should not be based solely on advertising materials.

3. No attorney-client relationship

Use of this Site, submission of any form, communication with the AI Switchboard, or transmission of any information through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Maddox & Muñiz, PLLC. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after you and the firm sign a written engagement agreement. Until that engagement is in place, do not send confidential or time-sensitive information to the firm through unsecured channels.

All content on this Site, including articles, summaries, FAQs, and resources, is for general informational purposes only. It is not legal advice on any matter and should not be relied on as such. Reading this Site does not substitute for retaining qualified counsel for your specific situation.

5. Past results

Any references on the Site to prior outcomes, matters handled, or representative engagements are illustrative only. Past results do not guarantee, predict, or warrant any future outcome. Every matter is different and depends on its own facts, jurisdiction, and circumstances.

6. AI Switchboard and recorded calls

Calls to the firm's main line may be answered first by an AI Switchboard that routes calls, takes messages, and schedules consultations. Calls may be recorded and transcribed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Texas is a one-party consent state. Callers from two-party consent states who do not consent to recording should inform the Switchboard or the attorney at the start of the call.

7. Communication consent

By submitting a form, scheduling a consultation, or otherwise opting in to be contacted, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages and phone calls from Maddox & Muñiz, PLLC at the phone number you provided, including calls placed by automated dialing systems and AI assistants, for the purposes of responding to your inquiry, confirming scheduled meetings, and following up on the same. Consent is not a condition of any retention. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS, or HELP for help.

8. Permitted use

You may access the Site for your own non-commercial informational use. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without prior written permission, except that you may print or download individual pages for personal reference. The firm's name, logos, and any trademarks shown on the Site are property of the firm and may not be used without permission.

9. Third-party links and content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. The firm does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of those third parties.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the firm from any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

13. Jurisdiction and unauthorized practice

Attorneys at Maddox & Muñiz, PLLC are licensed in the State of Texas. The firm does not hold itself out as available to practice law in any jurisdiction in which its attorneys are not properly licensed. Nothing on this Site is intended to be an offer to represent you in any jurisdiction where doing so would violate the rules of professional conduct of that jurisdiction.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site is the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
